Coaching with Adam:

Meet Coach Adam Zucco
Coach. Competitor. Teammate in Your Transformation.

From Overweight Beginner to 9x Ironman World Championship Finisher
When I started, I wasn’t a coach. I wasn’t a pro. I wasn’t even in shape.

I was 240 pounds and unsure where to begin. But I set a goal, stayed consistent, and completely rebuilt my health—and my life. That journey led me to lose over 80 pounds and eventually qualify for the Ironman World Championships nine times, with a personal best of 9:16.

Since then, I’ve built a coaching approach grounded in empathy, science, and results. I understand the emotional and physical journey athletes go through because I’ve lived it. And that’s what drives me—helping others move from where they are to where they want to be.

Helping athletes become stronger, healthier, more confident versions of themselves is why I coach. Because I know what it takes to cross the finish line—and I know how good it feels to finally get there.

Why work with adam

Coaching That Meets You Where You Are

I still train. I still race. And I still remember what it’s like to juggle life, family, and training.

Over the years, I’ve aligned myself with and learned from some of the world’s top minds in endurance performance, sports science, and coaching. I’ve taken those lessons and paired them with my own lived experience—so I not only know what works, but I know what it feels like to do the things you’re trying to do.

That’s why I care deeply about making your training not just effective—but sustainable. Whether you’re aiming for Kona or trying to carve out 5 hours a week to stay fit, I’ll help you stay focused, stay healthy, and make real progress.

Over the past 25+ years, I’ve helped athletes of all backgrounds reach their goals—from their first 5K or sprint triathlon to earning podium spots and Kona qualifications. I’ve coached:

  • 80+ athletes to the Ironman World Championships
  • Olympians and national-level competitors
  • Age-groupers balancing high-performance goals with careers and family
  • First-timers who simply want to finish strong, healthy, and proud

My coaching is personal. It’s not cookie-cutter or generic. I’ll get to know your goals, your schedule, and your mindset—so I can build a plan that works with your life, not against it.
